Still unsure about something? Here are the answers to the most common questions.

Any cable with at least two metallic conductors and a cross-section from 0.25 mm² (up to 16 mm² for cut detection). Fiber optic cable won't work.

Only if you pull cable from several drums at the same time. Otherwise, move the Aufmaster to the next drum when you're done, set it up and keep working. This applies to both length measurement and cut detection.

Yes. All the cable data you need for length and cut detection is stored on your smartphone or tablet.

If you use the Aufmaster Cloud, the app transfers your measurement reports to the cloud as soon as you are back online. For this, you need to have signed in once beforehand with an internet connection.

The Aufmaster always connects to two cores of the cable. So it does not measure single-core cables.

From 0.25 mm², and up to 16 mm² for cut detection. The clips that come with the Aufmaster fit cross-sections up to 70 mm². You can swap them for the test probes, also included, at any time.

The Aufmaster battery lasts up to two weeks on the job site. A full charge takes 2 hours.
