Cable not found? Calibrate your own cable

1. On the home screen of the app, open „Calibrate cable“.
2. Enter the details of your cable, e.g. cable name, manufacturer, cross-section and the number of cores or pairs. You can optionally add an article number — helpful if you work with internal material numbers. Then click „Save entry“.
3. Check the requirements shown, click „Continue“ and connect your Aufmaster device.
4. For the calibration you need a cable of known length of at least 20 metres. Enter the known cable length and click „Calibrate cable“.
5. Once the calibration has succeeded, your cable is ready to use.
6. You will find your self-calibrated cables under Master data and via „Search cable“ in the cable database — you can select or edit them there.

You can optionally add an article number. This is particularly helpful if you work with internal article or material numbers. It lets you find your cables again more quickly and map them to existing processes more easily.
